Richard S. Ascough is a Professor in the School of Religion at Queen’s University in Kingston, Canada. His research focuses on the development of early Christianity within the broader Greco-Roman religious culture of the time, but he also teaches courses Religion & Film, Mythology of Heroes, and Religion & Business Ethics. He has published widely in the field of New Testament, with twelve books and more than fifty articles and essays. He has been recognized for his innovative and effective teaching in a number of ways, including Canada’s 3M National Teaching Fellowship.
